"WILL  THE COLD WATERS BE FORSAKEN  FOR STRANGE WATERS?"
Jeremiah 18:13-14, (The virgin and Israel has done a horrible thing , Will A  MAN  leave the snow waters of Lebanon, which comes from the rock of the field?  Wlll the cold waters be forsaken for strange water?}  ves, we'll just go our own way.
Like the cold, refreshing waters that flow down from melting snow, God gives an  unceasing ,supply's of power to His to His people. In this passage  Lebanon's water is a steady  stream of  strength always available  and never failing. As you probably know Water in many places in the Bible represent the power of God. Yet God's people often continue on their dry empty  and sad, ways, saying," we are left to our selves ,we'll  just go our own forsaken  w ay, unwanted,  Did you ever know anyone like that?  This is a picture of despairing Christians who have forgotten the promises of God, who sit dejected beside a flowing stream  of God's love, thinking.  The Lord is not at work in my life. I'm just going to have to grit my teeth and do the best I can I'll fight alone if I have to. It's no use hoping any more.
They are the ones that have left the wells  of living water and hewed them out  broken wells  that could hold no water. When a person fail to pray and read God's Word they get weak because they are not getting fed by the spiritual food of life. The same way with our natural selves, if we don't eat the food we need we will get weak in our body. How must God feel today, He must grieve to see what is going on in this old world, We must fight the urge to give up, we must stay prayed up, read up and fight the devil as never before. There is great danger in hopelessness. I am going to stop here will have more next time. Still in Jeremiah. Love to all.
