OUR STRONG ANCHOR
This is my comfort in my affliction: Your promise has given
me life (Psalm 119:50).
Unfortunately, we all face unexpected crisis situations.
If we're wise, we'll prepare ahead for life's storms by
building our lives on the solid ground of Jesus Christ and
His Word rather than the shifting sands of this world.
We'll also store away His Word in our hearts like
necessary provisions in a waterproof container. Then,
when the storm hits, we'll lay hold of our strong anchor
our hope in Jesus Christ.
Today would be a good time to begin preparing ahead for
your next storm. You don't have to fret about what's on the
horizon, but you can make sure you have your anchor in
place by confessing your faith in the power of Jesus Christ,
storing up His promises in your heart, and resting in His
provision even in the good times. Having hope in our heart,
may help us prepare for life's crisis.
Our Lord is a strong anchor amidst life's storms. He helps
us to trust in Him when everything else seems unstable.
It seems everything that could happen is happening to me.
I don't know why, but I have hope that Christ will see
me through all of them. Because I believe in Christ as
my Savior and that he gave his life for me, if I was the
only person in this world, He died for me. I am thankful.
Peace and Joy to all the ones I love and to those who
are my enemies.
